Island Quilters Guild - November 2023 Show 'n Share Photos

Did you know that you can look up the books in our library before a meeting?  And since our President's Challenge this year is to use a book from our library as inspiration for a 'Favourite Holiday' project (wall hanging, small project), take a few minutes to browse.  Here is the link:  https://hawberryquilting.blogspot.com/2023/04/

Photos from our November 2023 Guild meeting:

Note:  All the hats you see modelled are made by Anna B. - see the caption on the first photo.

All the pumpkin photos come from the program on applique presented by Rolanda at the October meeting.  Resulting in lots of pumpkin pot holders!  The pillowcases shown here will go to Manitoulin Family Resources and will be used for children's gifts that are too unwieldly for paper wrapping.  Any member wanting to add to these can bring them to the December meeting.

Anna B. - Here she is showing some of the mitts she makes and sells at Northern Creative Studio. Gore Bay Harbour Centre, 40 Water St.  We have tote bags, sun hats and sun visors for golfing. Also showcasing photos of Manitoulin.
